Friday Flow: Simple Seated Twist

Detoxify and calm the nervous system with the seated twist.

  • Sit tall (maybe on a blanket or block)
  • Place one hand behind your back
  • Bring the opposite arm across the knee and sit taller with the inhale
  • Exhale and gently twist
  • Hold for 5 breaths and switch sides

This pose (Parivrtta Sukhasana) stretches the hips, spine, chest, and shoulders.
